This location is of the Rankin Borough Ball field. This community is historically underrepresented, and underfunded. It also sits just above a historically polluting steel mill and is directly impacting, suffering from some of the worst air in Pennsylvania.Submitted by David Anglero in Allegheny. Why can't York Co. residents have the opportunity to save 5 - 15% on their energy bills through participation in Community Solar farms? York Co. has a lot of suitable open land for agrevoltaic and solar farming.Submitted by Helen Paine.

Our neighborhood is known for its large shade trees, in addition to steep and or slate roofs making it difficult as individuals to install solar on our homes. As a Climate Action Neighborhood, we also understand the importance of solar as an alternative to gas and oil. We support making space for solar fields for the benefit of all and to collectively reduce our dependence on climate harming alternatives."Submitted by Melissa Snavely in Lancaster. Cherry Valley Borough, served by Central Electric Cooperative, cannot opt into solar unless the homeowner buys it themselves. We need alternatives.Submitted by Karen Bagdes-Canning.
